Saturday, Feb 23rd:
9am-12pm- Kid Wind Teaching workshop at Gateway to Science. Free Workshop open to all teachers. This course is open to teachers at all levels and will appeal especially to middle/high school science and technical education teachers who are interested in renewable energy, physics, engineering and design. NO knowledge of wind energy is required to attend the course. 2pm-4pm - Wind Energy Challenge - Join KidWind educators to learn and apply the basic principals behind wind energy in an engaging, hands-on manner. A variety of materials will be provided for you to experiment with design and function of wind generating models. Free and open to the public. Hosted by Gateway to Science and held at the Frances Leach High Prairie Arts & Science Complex, 1810 Schafer Street, Bismarck.
Noon-5pm - Snowkiting Clinic at the Bismarck State College Soccer Field 2pm-4pm- Kid Wind Work Shop open to everyone

11am-5pm - Huff Hills Ski Area: Snowkiting lessons every hour on the Green Run, (Boyscouts will be there with hot cocoa) Open house with crew in lodge
