I heard from both Jason and Sam today; The weather is rough out here. Today it was -24 degrees with wind chill; wind was blowing 20mph and we are having a winter storm. Paul's gloves froze over night and his fingers may be frost nipped. Because of the winter storm they are crashing in a church in Alamo. It would be unsafe for them to stay outside during this storm, but they'll be out again by daylight. They had no plans of staying indoors, but the circumstances provided it, so the expedition is still considered unsupported. I was out with a kite today and I got dragged all over the place, I'm glad that they have more experience. These guys are very determined and they motivate each other and keep each other moving.
The educational crew gave two presentations today, one at Williston High School and one at the Public Library, they both went well, we got great crowds. We are headed to Watford City tomorrow and hope to get some kites flyin this weekend in New Town!
