2XTM - Too Cross the Moon - Wind Power Awareness

A quick note in-between rigging buggies and rehabilitating my shoulder.

They guys called me last night, the EDU crew was in the middle of the Luke Granger concert (amazing musician).  They said they felt like they were a lost away team from a Star Trek episode.  Their Captain was injured and beamed back to the ship and they were left on a hostel planet with poor communications and the wrong equipment.  The increased temperatures have caused all the snow to melt.  They were lost on a giant sheet of Ice with no way to hold an edge and no snow to melt.  They spent the day trying to walk but their biggest challenge was standing up.  They managed to walk 10 miles to the southern shore of Sakakawea.  Now their goal is Zap, ND via Kite buggy.  They will be able to use the wind again but with the lack of snow finding water will be a big challenge.  Well I have to get going, they buggies need air in the tires and I need to pack.  I will be out in the field with the film crew hopefully for the duration.  My shoulder has feeling again; hope to be kiting by Monday.
