1/2 through Wed Feb 20th about 1430
I got a call at 9am, Jason assured me that they made it through the amazingly cold night and were now headed out into the -40 degree wind chill to hike south. They reported the wind speeds of 10-13mph from the SSE the exact direction they were hoping to travel. The Ice conditions were pretty bad as well lots of sections of glare Ice (imposable to edge on unless you have a Switchblade for your snowboard…too bad they were sold out this year) Keep checking the Google maps page for updates as well as Snowkiting.com
